Another batch from this secret Speyside distillery that allegedly started it all! This is a 25 Year Old from an ex-Bourbon barrel that was laid down in October 1997.

Seriously though, we really can’t tell you where this comes from, or indeed give you too many clues…
But don’t let that stop you from discovering this spectacular Speysider - we bet you’ll glen-love-it!
NOSE
Bright and summery. Barley, vanilla, crisp apples, ripe mango, and a little honey. Floral with honeysuckle and some lemongrass.
TASTE
Really lovely mouthfeel with creamy vanilla, apple sauce, honey, lemon curd, some peppery spices and bitters too. The finish is long and peppery, spicier too, leaving a drying aftertaste.
ABOUT THE LABEL
Our label is a riff on ‘2001 A Space Odyssey’ where a spacecraft is sent to Jupiter to find its origins - a spacecraft manned by two men and the supercomputer H.A.L. 9000.
Our spacecraft is this very modern (with the joint largest capacity) secret Speyside distillery, that can be run by just two men, and a computer.
Our HAL 9000 is a still sightglass and the ‘I’m sorry Dave’ reference fits perfectly too, as our original label Speyside #4 label has Boutique-y Dave on it, being handed the Banjolnir from the whisky gods.
