6 New Batches from a World of our Creation!

6 New Batches from a World of our Creation!

Introducing our first ever batches of Cragganmore and Dutch single malt Millstone as well as new batches of Glenburgie, Paul John, Strathmill and Macallan!

Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? That Boutique-y Whisky Company are certainly not showing, any sign that they are slowing!

Here's our first batch of Cragganmore. There's a blueprint on the label showing a Cragganmore spirit still, which has had its top chopped off, which was done so they didn't collide with the roof. While roof versus still would have been an exciting battle, the peaceful outcome has produced some brilliant whiskies - like this very bottling...

Another first, and it's a double first too (does a double first make a second?). It's our first batch of single malt whisky from Zuidam, and our first Dutch whisky! The label features Patrick Zuidam giving us a tour of the wonderland within his distillery whilst wearing a sweet hat.

We're sure there's going to be plenty of you very excited about the following sentence... Here's our newest bottling of Macallan! It's a 30 year old from the world-famous distillery in Speyside, and by gosh, by golly, is it gorgeous! It also lets about as much light through it as a house-brick.

Distilleries have to be prepared for all sorts. Fire extinguishers. Intruder alarms. Shark repellent bat-spray. However, nobody is prepared for giants rummaging through your things for a massive hat. Our third batch of Glenburgie is warning to all in the shape of a delicious 18 year old single malt: "Be wary of giants."

We're on to our third batch of independently bottled Paul John single malt Indian whisky, and once again those angels are queuing up for their share of some stunning peated whisky. Save some for us! Please!

Now, if we were to ask you what renowned bear-botherer Goldilocks, W. & A. Gilbey and the Moray town of Keith had in common, would you have a clue what we were on about? That's right, the former porridge oats mill that is Strathmill distillery! This is our third batch, aged for a quarter of a century.

These delightful delicacies and sweet treats are available from fine retailers now. Off-trade/on-trade enquiries should be directed to our UK distributor, Maverick Drinks.

Our Range Gains Two More Grains

Our Range Gains Two More Grains

Have a gander at a dynamic duo of new grain whiskies which we’ve just bottled!

Look, we’ve bottled a pair of new grain whiskies! What a perfect situation for those among us that love delicious grain whiskies as well as for those among us that are writing a blog post about these two whiskies and looking for a theme to run through it.

Here’s our very first batch of Port Dundas - a 25 year old single grain from a distillery that is sadly no more. However, that’s not going to stop us bottling their whisky, no siree! The label shows a variety of grains which have been used in the production of single grain, including a couple of our favourites like Blue Corn (makes a great tortilla chip when it’s not being used in whisky) and Triticale (a close relative to Quadrotriticale - a top treat for tribbles).

We’ve also got our second batch of Girvan single grain Scotch whisky, aged for 52 years. Friar John looks somewhat wary of the rotovap being installed, but then again, he’s never seen one of them before and just had it plonked down in front of him by a time-traveller! It’s understandable to be a touch confused about the entire situation. Nevertheless, we’re sure he’s excited at the prospect of continuing to produce spirit from 1495 to 2016 to produce just as much spirit as the Girvan distillery does on any day of the week.

These two treats are available from fine retailers now. Off-trade/on-trade enquiries should be directed to our UK distributor, Maverick Drinks.
