We’ve got a brand new batch of Macduff single malt, and let you in on a secret about one of Shakespeare’s most notorious plays.
Today we’re very happy to show you our latest batch of Macduff - now with an age statement! This one is an 11 year old single malt boasting notes of apricot-filled pastries and spoonfuls of honey. If you look at the label, you’ll once again see a deleted scene one of Shakespeare’s rather violent plays (though perhaps not quite as violent as Titus Andronicus - ooh, get us with our clever references and that).
Macduff is enjoying a Boilermaker with a pretty confused-looking chap, discussing his plans for later in the evening. You might be surprised to see what beer Macduff is enjoying his dram of Macduff whisky alongside. How did he get his hands on that?! Three simple words: Interdimensional Phase Shifting (OK, maybe we should have said one fairly complicated word and two somewhat more straightforward words). Macduff is able to travel to other fictional universes, swipe what he wants and bring it back to his world. However, this didn’t have any influence on the rest of the story, so Shakespeare decided to leave this scene on the cutting room floor.
Our bottling of 11 year old Macduff will be available from fine retailers soon. Off-trade/on-trade enquiries should be directed to our UK distributor, Maverick Drinks.
